This free meditation workshop is an opportunity for you to learn how to meditate and enjoy its many benefits in daily life. It is offered in the traditional way that meditation is passed from one to another, by teachers who have been taught directly by Sri Chinmoy.
This workshop will give you a solid introduction to meditation practice; an opportunity to really immerse yourself for three days in a program that will have profound and lasting benefits. No previous meditation experience is necessary.
Topics and Techniques: Sri Chinmoy teaches that meditation in the spiritual heart is by far the easiest and most effective. Using his teachings of the “Sunlit Path” as a basis, the workshop will explore:
- Breathing and concentration techniques to calm and focus the mind and open the heart
- Creative visualisation
- Mantras and music
Continuation classes: A free, three-week follow-up course will be offered for those wishing to consolidate their practice and learn more about the meditation lifestyle. More details will be available at the meditation workshop.
